How many dogs do you care for at once?

We host one dog at a time (or two from the same household). Occasionally, there’s a short overlap or gentle social time with a compatible dog—but only with your okay.

Do you have fixed times or schedules?

Nope! We’re fully flexible. Whether it’s feeding, walking, drop-offs, or pick-ups—we follow your dog’s routine, not the other way around.

Do you accept all breeds and sizes?

Yes! We welcome all friendly dogs, big or small, as long as they’re a good fit for our calm environment.

What if my dog is anxious, reactive, or has trauma?

You’re in the right place. Our home is quiet and kid-free—ideal for sensitive dogs. We go at your dog’s pace, never push socialization, and always prioritize comfort and trust.

Can you care for rescue dogs or dogs with anxiety?

Absolutely. We take extra time, move gently, and create a soft, steady environment where your dog can decompress and feel safe.

Do you accept puppies or senior dogs?

Yes. From playful pups to golden oldies, we adjust our care to match their energy, needs, and schedule. For untrained puppies or seniors needing more cleaning, a small fee may apply.

Do you accept unneutered or reactive dogs?

Yes—on a case-by-case basis. Just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly and offer the best support.

Can you help socialize my dog during the stay?

Yes, in a slow and thoughtful way. If your dog is ready, we’ll gently introduce them to another calm, friendly dog in a quiet setting.

Yes! We love meet & greets. It helps your dog get familiar with us and ensures it’s a good match all around.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes—we ask for a 30% deposit to confirm bookings. This helps us prioritize committed clients, since we only take a limited number of dogs.

How do I pay?

You can pay via bank transfer, cash, or a secure payment link—whatever works best for you.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes, we’re happy to provide one! Please note that we don’t charge VAT.

Can I extend my stay or change my return date?

Yes, if we have space. Just let us know as soon as you can, and we’ll do our best to make it work.

What happens if my flight is delayed and I’m late for pick-up?

No worries—it happens! We’ll keep your dog safe and comfy until you arrive. If the delay is long, we’ll help you find a solution or extend their stay if we can.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancellations are free up to 4 weeks in advance (6 weeks for holidays). After that, the deposit is non-refundable.

What’s included in boarding or daycare?

3–4 walks per day, personalized feeding, rest time, enrichment activities, and regular updates so you’re always in the loop.

Can you feed my dog at specific times?

Yes—we stick to your feeding schedule.

Can you give my dog enrichment or puzzle games?

Yes! Bring their favorite puzzle toy or let us know if you’d like us to add some brain games.

Can you potty train my dog?

We’re happy to help support potty training with frequent walks and consistency. A small cleaning fee may apply for dogs who are still learning.

Can you administer medication?

Yes, with clear instructions. We’re used to oral meds and supplements.

Do you offer training or grooming?

Not professionally, but we’re happy to reinforce your training and offer light grooming like brushing.

Do you let dogs off-leash?

Only if you give permission, your dog has strong recall, and we’re in a safe space.

Can you feed raw or BARF diets?

Yes. Just provide the food and instructions—we’ll take care of the rest.

Will my dog be around other dogs?

Only one at a time—or two if it’s a compatible match. If you prefer solo care, we’ll block off our calendar for your dog. Just let us know in advance.

My dog isn’t social. Is that a problem?

Not at all. We’ll make sure they have their own space and a peaceful environment. Make sure you’ll note that in your booking.

Yes! We’re happy to arrange early or late pick-ups/drop-offs if needed. A small fee may apply.

Yes. Free in Haarlem for stays over 7 nights; small fee for other trips.

What’s your holiday policy?

We’re open during holidays, but it gets busy fast. Cancellations during holiday periods require 6 weeks’ notice.

Do you accept last-minute bookings?

Yes—just get in touch. If we have space, we’re happy to help.

What should I bring for boarding or daycare?

Bring their usual food, leash/harness, any medication, and something familiar like a toy or blanket. A crate is optional if your dog prefers one.

Can I send my dog with treats or chews?

Absolutely! Let us know what they’re allowed to have, and we’ll include them in their daily routine.

Can you follow my training or nap schedule?

Of course. We’ll stick to your cues, rest times, and routines as closely as possible.

What information should I share before my dog’s stay?

Please let us know your dog’s routine, any health or behavioral notes, and what makes them feel most comfortable. We also ask for an emergency contact (someone local, if possible) and your vet’s details—just in case.

Should I bring my dog’s passport or medical records?

Yes, please! We recommend bringing your dog’s pet passport, especially if they’re staying overnight. It helps us act quickly in case of a medical emergency and ensures we have all the important info on hand.

What’s your home like?

We live in a quiet, 95 m² house in Haarlem with a cozy feel and a secure backyard. No chaos, just calm.

Is the backyard secure?

Yes—fully fenced and safe for supervised outdoor time.

Where will my dog sleep?

Usually in the hallway or living room—wherever they feel most relaxed. Dogs aren’t allowed in our bedroom.

Is my dog allowed on furniture?

Yes, if they’re allowed at home. If not, we’ll respect your house rules.

Will my dog be left alone?

Very rarely, and only briefly. We work from home and plan our schedule around your dog’s needs.

Where do you walk the dogs?

We’re lucky to have several lovely parks just a short walk from our home, including green paths along the canal. If your dog enjoys more adventure, we’re happy to head to nearby off-leash areas or even plan a beach outing.
